Learn chemistry by experimenting

A hands-on course that starts inside a single atom and never stops mixing: every lesson pairs readable theory with an interactive lab you can poke, heat, dilute and overdose — then a short quiz locks it in. It ends with real experiments at your kitchen table and a battery you grow out of lemons.

UNIT 0

The Atom

0/3

Matter's alphabet: what atoms are made of, where their electrons live, and the one chart that organizes all of chemistry.

UNIT 1

Chemical Bonds

0/3

Why atoms stick together at all: electron theft, electron sharing, and the electron sea — three deals, one goal: a full outer shell.

UNIT 2

Reactions & the Mole

0/3

Reactions rearrange atoms but never create or destroy them — and the mole is the trick that lets you weigh the invisible.

UNIT 3

States of Matter & Solutions

0/3

The same particles, dancing three different dances — and what happens when one substance disappears into another.

UNIT 4

Acids, Bases & the Kitchen Capstone

0/3

The chemistry of sour and slippery, the logarithmic scale that measures it — and a capstone you cook at home.

🎯 It ends at your kitchen table

Each tier closes with the real thing: the core course ends in the Kitchen Lab — red-cabbage pH indicator, a CO₂ balloon you stoichiometrically size, salt crystals grown on a string — and the advanced course ends with a lemon battery that lights an actual LED. By the time you get there, you understand every reaction in it.
